Two great images guys. Makes me want to go to the archives from previous trips to Old Car City and pull something out.

Thanks for starting the Daily, Dave.

This is an old coaliing tower up the road a piece from where I live and I have been wanting to photograph it for some time. So this morning I hopped on the motorcycle and rode a bit over 50 miles to do that. I shot with my Nikon as well as my 4x5 pinhole. The 4x5 negs are drying right now but they look like they might be pretty good. Once they dry and I get them processed into the computer I will post any that are decent. I shot 4 sheets of 4x5.

Here is one digital shot that I converted to B&W.

Here is an article about coal towers if you are not familiar with the term.

Haven't been taking photos of car lights.
I do have some bark though.

OMG, these are awesome.

Dave, I love this crop and the mood you captured, A+++++

Michael. Hopefully is the weather permits, I will be joining my photo club this Saturday for a trip to a car museum. You have inspired me to try to get a photo as good as your cadilac tail light shot. I love the shallow DOF and contrast, and much more. Bravo, you get an A with a bunch of plusses afterward too.

Don, Love the coal tower and am glad that you identified what it is. I am not sure I ever saw anything like that. It looks perfect in B&W.

Peter, nice ombre in your image. Beautiful inspiration for fabric.
