Wednesday, December 7, 2022 - Dave - 12-07-2022 Good day folks. My usual morning walk starts around 6:00-6:15 but today I didn't get out until around 8:30. And the brighter light had a nice quality to it. On the way back I heard chirping and looked up to see this small bird about 6 feet overhead. I haven't yet identified it (my first guess was some sort of sparrow, but I found nothing in my Sibley guide that looked right). Anyway, after downloading some of the photos I took, I decided to process this one because of the open beak as the bird sang and because the colors turned out pretty accurate. I cropped for composition and really like that the branches suggest an Asian, minimalist style to me...     Have a good day everyone.
