Happy Hump Day.
I renewed the domain name so we are good for another year.
Dave's pano photo from yesterday reminded me that I have something similar (at least in format) from the photo walk. From the bridge where everyone was hanging out doing cityscapes and what not, I walked down to the waters edge and took a photo of them up on the bridge. Converted to B&W.
I really haven't been shooting much lately. Other than the photo walk and a short jaunt up the road a bit to shoot some pinhole shots of a church I haven't had the cameras out at all. I did notice some dust spots on the sensor of my Z6 and will probably clean both sensors sometime today and start deciding what I will take with me to the Smokies next month.
I might post a couple more photos from the walk later on.

Kudos, Don, for breaking away from the crowd and taking a different approach. The resulting image was worth it.
Another shot from last weekend's airshow, this a formation of 4 (yes 4 - look closely) as the they flew directly over my house.

Speaking of " taking a different approach" as Dave said, last evening I watched a WEBINAR called Painting With A Camera.
You know how much I love OUT OF THE BOX creations. Well, this photographer, David DesRoachers, shows how it is done IN CAMERA.
It was a pretty good webinar so I thought I would share it with you.
I see it as a possible Challenge for our Monthly Challenge Thread. There are several things that I would like to try. It has me thinking a whole different way of photographing the waves on Anna Maria Island as well as the sunset.
One of our club members is excellent at this type of creative photography, I wish I could share some of his wonderful images with you.

I am about half way through it Lorell - really enjoying it! For those who might want to watch it, be sure and add the exclamation mark on the end of the PW. Ask me how I know... Some of the techniques discussed reminded me of some images I took a couple of years ago in the Smokies. I'll try to find one to post. I agree on the monthly challenge - we should definitely do that!

Dave, you really got a good shot of the planes, all 4 of them! So fun they flew over your house!
Lorell, I looked at half of the link.....we did something like some of those, I think I may have a couple in my archives....will look for them, and think of some new ones, too, for future use!

Lorell, what is old has become new again! Cool webinar. Not done yet though. I agree with Natalie, I have done some of that technique with film. Will try to find a negative out of the 10,000 I have cataloged!

Yep, but I have to admit I gave it some thought considering the sparse representation we have in the forum. Of course we have quality over quantity and there's not a lot of effort to keep it going other than renew the domain name when it comes due. Still, it would be nice to have a few more members just so we don't have those days when only 2 or 3 (or none) show up. If we all get busy with other things, it gets pretty empty in here.
