Good morning all -
For some reason the forum has started to get a lot of Bots trying to register, especially from Asia and India in particular. So I have to go in and see where the IP address is from, evaluate, and generally delete that user and then try to block those IP addresses. Keeps me on my toes.
This image is from about 9 years ago, from Cades Cove in Tennessee. I converted from color to B&W just for interest.

Thanks for starting a Daily, and with such a fine photo. The only thing I can see that would make it better would if the dirt road had a bit of a curve from foreground to middleground.
About the bots, I imagine that most or all of them are up to no good, most likely trying to scavenge private info about our members to sell, or maybe even attempting identity theft. I thank you for being on top of this.
Sorry but no new photos from me to share. We'll see what the rest of the day brings.
Today will be the first day in about a week when even in coastal SoCal our temperatures have been 90 to 96.
My wife and both adult kids will travel to San Diego today. So it will be a good day for me to take care of some financial things: 1) investigating options with numerous banks and credit unions for the best place for my wife to put a recent life-changing inheritance; 2) making sure all the places I shop at online have a new debit card I had to get after suspicious activity on the previous one; and 3) making major changes to our investment portfolio. All of these will be a hassle, tedious but quite important. I also need to get estimates for a new roof - gotta get that done before our rainy months arrive.
If possible I'll find time to relax with a couple of beers and watch a movie, probably my favorite of the many Star Trek films - "The Wrath of Khan".

Agree with Dave re the bots. Thanks Don for your attentiion to the matter.
As for your image. There is a curve as the road diasappears to the right and it looks as though there is a possible turn agaiin to the left as the road heads for a possible pass over the hills. So I can see further into the image or at least imagine I can,.

Thanks Dave _ I appreciate the feedback. It would have been great if there had been a curve in the road. Without it, it's just a "meh" image. Probably should have gone down the road a bit to where the road does curve.
Sounds like you have a lot of financial stuff to get done. It is such a hassle when one of your cards is compromised. We've all been through it probably, at one time or another.
I think we are getting a little rain from the gulf hurricane, but nothing serious here.

Don, I agree with Dave and Peter on the curves. It is a very peaceful country scene however.
Thanks for all the busy work with the bots. Nothing would be good about having them on here. It is really getting bad.

I have spent time in Gulf Shore, Al The high rise Condos are very close to the shore.
Been a little warm the past couple of days here. Cooling off Monday with normal October temps in the 60's.
I have a few Halloween house decoration photos to share next week.
