Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Adamphotoman - 01-06-2022 Late start today. I continue to go through negatives. Here is my mom mid 1990's. A little soft but sometimes it is good to be soft on portraits. RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Adamphotoman - 01-06-2022 A Fun portrait for a drama student in front of an old furnace. And our 13 year oldĀ [last in the sand box] - He is now 49 RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Dave - 01-06-2022 These are exceptional, Grant. I have nothing to offer but another shot of one of Ron's few surviving roses - the same ones as I posted yesterday, but I moved a few feet to switch the background to the blue of the sky... RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Rich - 01-06-2022 Grant, wonderful portraits. Lovely shot of your Mom! Soft is OK! Furnace shot is a good setup and I like the guy in back lurking! I probably have a few sandbox photos of my children too, neat! Dave, you can't beat yellow and blue for a good color combo! Weather will modify tomorrow. From a 3 below high today to 30 above. Yes!!! RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Adamphotoman - 01-07-2022 Thanks Dave, Rich the guy in the background is also BETH THE SUBJECT RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Rich - 01-07-2022 (01-07-2022, 03:14 AM)Adamphotoman Wrote: Thanks Dave, Ha, I see that now when I look closer at the facial features. Quite a nice double exposure?? or good darkroom magic and idea! RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - Adamphotoman - 01-07-2022 The Bronica ETRsi is double exposure capable. The image was made in camera. In fact I forgot I msde a second exposure until I found the negative and took a look at it. RE: Thursday Jan 06, 2022 - damar - 01-07-2022 Grant, your family photos are hearwarming. The portrait of your Mom is sweet. The first thing I noticed was her pretty hair and it reminded me of how women back in the 60s spent so much time in hair curlers if they weren't born with "naturally curly hair". The furnace photo is unique; ductwork, portrait, her face in the background and newspaper scattered along the floor. Your son in the sandbox: He's about the same age as my son. It's strange seeing their gray hair/beards now. Nice sky background for the yellow rose, Dave! Well I'll see if anyone has started the Friday thread before I post it. |
