Happy Hump Day.
I haven't taken many photos recently, but on today's first walk I spotted this budding yellow rose emerging into the early morning light...
I got lucky that my camera settings were about right for the shot - didn't need to do any darkening of the background and lightened the yellows of the emerging petals just a little.

Love the yellows emerging from the graduated shades of dark green.
All I've got is, the sky is rippling!

Thanks MFI. But Mother Nature did all the creative work. I just happened to see it at the right time.
Lovely blue sky & soft, muted clouds. It's a great image to use as a practice study of washes with watercolors.

The good wife does watercolour washes. She's always asking for pictures of clouds to practice on.
