Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 - Dave - 03-11-2025 Good day folks. I think I'll jump on the Taco Tuesday bandwagon today. I have some leftover pulled pork, a fresh batch of homemade salsa, and some shredded Carolina Reaper cheese to start with and I'll pick up shredded lettuce, scallions & Mexican Crema, and maybe prepare some diced pickled jalapenos. An unidentified flower from the front yard, taken yesterday and just now processed... Have a good day or night. RE: Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 - Rich - 03-11-2025 Greetings Dave! Menu sounds good! I am thinking Italian tonight! Interesting flower! A sunny day treat! Good exposure! Here is an Oreo Heifer from Oregon! So named because of the markings. RE: Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 - Man From Ironbark - 03-11-2025 The flower I believe is a Gazania. Possibly Gazania rigens? A local farmer has those cows. RE: Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 - Dave - 03-12-2025 Cool coloring, Rich. MFI, yes, Gazania sounds right. Thanks. RE: Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 - Man From Ironbark - 03-13-2025 Oh and the cows are: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belted_Galloway They can now be found in many parts of the world but they originate in Galloway. |
