I swear, every time I write a check and post the date, I have to think, "What year is it?"
It even happens when I start the daily. Which means that I do not start enough dailies!
So far, I got it right. The good news is if I get it wrong, I know you will fix it for me. That's what friends are for.

Yes, that definitely meets the theme.
Your values are well done, of course. And I like the areas of sharp focus against the softer ones.
I sense a lot of energy in this deceptively simple image.
I've made my share of typos with dates and I've learned that I can't edit anything in threads others started, but I can correct typos (even to the title and date) to threads I started myself.

This group is pretty picky about measurements, making sure that the object in the photo or the area you photographed is not larger than three inches. Only once was I asked to remove my photo because I broke the rules. But there are some pretty fine photographers in that group, and I think it makes me better when I look at other people's work, especially if they are skilled like many of them are.
