Natalie got it!
Seasonal yellow pollen blown from the trees in clouds, washed by the rains to low points where the street and curb meet.

Hurray, Natalie. I knew that she would know it.

LOL! Dave gave a hint that gave it away.....It sure does look like a painted line or something embedded in the curb.......and on my computer it did not look yellow like our pollen looks around here!! It was a good WHATIZIT.

It's been over 3 months since we had a new WhatIzIt? image.
Here's one I took today...
No, I didn't convert it to B&W - this is a full color image with no processing beyond making the 4 light areas a little brighter and sharpening to counter the softness that Save for Web always introduces.
I suspect this one will be rather easy.

looks like you parked your flashlight pointing at the table.

You nailed it, MFI.
A mini-flashlight placed on a white kitchen counter, taken before dawn.
I was pleased with the minimalist graphic look of this photo.

I noted if I scrolled the page so it hid the two side lights, it becomes a pair of glowing eyes in the dark.

Good observation, MFI. That would become a neat image.
