RE: Monday, April 4, 2022 - Dave - 04-04-2022 Thanks Natalie, Don, damar, and Rich. Don, timing is everything. I'm glad you didn't get on that ladder. Congrats Grant & Bev.We have our 50th coming early next month. Peach orchard, nicely shot damar. As suggested (and suggestions from the talented folks here is worth heeding), even though I intentionally stayed with the low contrast shot of the pink rose because I wasn't interested in making the rose "pop", I took your advice... RE: Monday, April 4, 2022 - Dreamin - 04-04-2022 Dave, I love this rose....great job. I hope you have tons of roses to shoot this year in your neighbor's yard! RE: Monday, April 4, 2022 - Don - 04-04-2022 Mmmmm... peaches. One of my favorite fruits! Congrats Grant and Bev - we celebrated 51 years of marriage last month although we have known each other for about 66 years. I spent a bit of time cutting up the tree and hauling it to the street for (hopefully) pick upĀ by the city. They are getting picky lately though, so we'll see what happens. RE: Monday, April 4, 2022 - Quint - 04-04-2022 A cool and blustry day winding down. We just got a white coating of large hail after hearing some nearby thunder. It's mostly gone now. Lorell, that's quite a nice photo of a handsome dog. Natalie, a nice shot of some tools of the trade. Dave, great flower color. Your garden sounds like it's coming along. I'm doing similar. Transplanting heirloom tomatoes into larger pots, waiting for warmer outside conditions. Peppers are still small but coming on. Some nice varieties of sweet non bells also to try this year. I'm glad my tomatoes and peppers have a greenhouse to protect them. I am starting to give extras away since I only keep about a dozen but have fifty young ones to choose from and share. Don, I don't climb ladders much except for a few steps. Thankfully my pole saw keeps me more grounded. I liked you covered bridge shot. The sepia tone serves it well as does your frame style. Grant, congratulations to you both on your anniversary. Hi, Patty. I wish I had a big juicy peach now. I'll have to find some around here when in season. Hi, Rich. It supposed to be in the seventies mid week for a few days then more showers and cool spring weather. And the lawn keeps on growing. RE: Monday, April 4, 2022 - Rich - 04-04-2022 Dave, your adjustments do make the rose the center of attention. You have to go with your vision. In the art world, I always said, that only two people have to like it, you and the buyer! That was a rotten tree for sure Don! Steve, too bad on the weather. It has been a strange year so far for weather events. |
